Dancing With The Celebrities (Pittsburgh)
November 10, 2008
So if you love ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (I mean really who doesn’t?) now’s your chance to watch the local version.
Thirteen local celebrities are set to compete on the dance floor and it’s all to benefit diabetes research at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
I’m representing WTAE along with Janelle Hall and Sheldon Ingram. Our very own Mike Clark will also be the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
We’ve all been teamed with a professional instructor and are each doing different dances, but will compete for just one title.
The event will take place Saturday, December 6, at the David L.
Lawrence Convention Center.
You can come for dinner and the show or just to enjoy the show and dancing after. It’s up to you.
Check out dancingwiththecelebritiesofpgh.net for details and to reserve your seats.
And if you want to test your dancing skills at home check out Ballroomdancers.com. You can learn all the major dances through the sites free videos.

Here’s an easy way to get a local charity organization $15,000!
Your Choice Charity is an Allstate-sponsored initiative that will make a $15,000 donation to one charitable organization that makes it’s community a better place to live.
In the Pittsburgh region you can vote for:
*Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh
All of these organizations provide services for victims of domestic violence in our region.
I encourage you to learn more about each of these charities and then CLICK HERE to vote.
The charity that generates the most votes will receive a $15,000 donation from Allstate.
